WANSARC is affiliated with the Wireless Institute of Australia. The WIA is a member of the International Amateur Radio Union and represents all Amateur Radio Operators in Australia to the various government bodies in this country.
Amateur Radio Victoria operate the majority of the Victorian repeater network, run a QSL bureau and provide information and courses on licensing.
